Acne can affect more than just the skin. For people with acne problems, it can really impact their confidence and self-esteem.
If you are one of these people, don’t worry. You’re not alone. Acne affects approximately 48% of both males and females in between the ages of 20 – 40 years old in the Philippines.
How do you treat acne?
From topical creams to professional skin care treatments, there are plenty of effective acne treatment options available. Everyone’s skin is different and sometimes it may take more than just one type of treatment to see results.
One option you can consider is taking Lactezin®.
Lactezin® is a clinically-tested drug, which uses a natural antibacterial active ingredient, Lactoferrin, combined with Vitamin E and Zinc to reduce skin oiliness and comedones (acne/whiteheads/blackheads) which may help deliver better complexion in as early as 2 weeks.
Lactezin® contains three powerful pimple-fighting and skin health-boosting ingredients:
Lactoferrin has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It enhances the body’s natural defenses to help fight pimple-causing bacteria, reduce sebum and inflammation and helps repair damaged skin cells.
Vitamin E helps maintain healthy skin cells by fighting free radical damage.
Zinc helps maintain a healthy immune system and promotes wound healing and repair of damaged skin tissues. Its antioxidant and oil-regulating properties also help improve skin appearance.
It is an ingestive in a capsule format, which is to be taken twice daily to help experience the full benefit of skin clearing and overall smoothness.
Is Lactezin effective?
In An Open Clinical Trial to Determine the Efficacy of Lactoferrin plus Vitamin E and Zinc in Adults, respondents were instructed to take one capsule twice a day for 12 weeks. The number of comedones was counted over the course of the trial. Skin oiliness and pore minimizing effects were also graded.
Statistical analysis of the comedones (Figure 1) showed a significant reduction on the 1st until the 12th week of usage. The highest percentage of comedone reduction was noted in the 12th week.
It also showed significant surface oil reduction, as well as pore minimizing effects during the trial.
There were also no adverse effects during the duration of the study.
The results are CLEAR. The combination of Lactoferrin, Vitamin E, and Zinc found in Lactezin® can help deliver better complexion in as early as 2 weeks.
